What happens
Flight review
For current pilots. The fee is $275 flat and includes the ground portion.
Instrument proficiency check
For instrument-rated pilots. The fee is $350 flat.
The aircraft is extra on both. Each flat fee is DZ Aviation's fee only, and Countrywide Flyers bills the Cessna 172 or Piper Archer for the Hobbs time.
A current CFI does not need the hour portion of the flight review. Any situation can be customized: take the flat rate, or pay as you go at the hourly rates, based on what you need.
What to bring
- Government ID
- Pilot certificate, medical, and logbook, if the person already has them
Training-plan consult
How much Hobbs time to plan for is a question for the consult. It is a free, 30-minute sit-down that maps your certificate, realistic hours, and realistic cost.
