  • Totals add the Cessna 172 at $165/hr, paid to Countrywide Flyers.
  • If you need more — and some people do, which is completely fine — it's $75/hr for instruction from there, agreed before the flight.
  • Any situation can be customized: take the flat rate, or pay as you go at the hourly rates, based on what you need.

How billing works

Instruction and the airplane are billed on the same Hobbs meter, for the same block of time. A flight lesson has no separate charge for the brief or the debrief.

Flat-fee products (mock checkride, flight review, IPC) include DZ Aviation's fee only. The airplane is still billed by the club for the Hobbs time.

No 10-hour block. No block discount. No large prepayments.

A student keeps the enrolled rate through the certificate they signed up for.
